I was disappointed to learn that ProTools on Apple Silicon has to run in Rosetta if you have any x86 plug-ins. At this time more than half of my plug-ins are already universal.

Does anyone know how much sacrifice there is to run ProTools in Rosetta?

I understand you can use wrapped AU plug-ins and then it will not require Rosetta.

I don’t think you can get around Rosetta other than to use Silicon-engineered plugins. Perhaps you are referring to DDMF plugins, ddmf.eu,  which make a “meta plugin” but to my knowledge it does not get around Rosetta and won’t load Intel-based AAF plugins.
